M.I.D.E. (Middle School Intensive Discipleship Experience) is a four-day overnight event hosted by the LVC Youth Group for students entering grades 6–8. Built around the truth of 1 Timothy 4:6–16, M.I.D.E. is designed to help middle school students grow deeper in their walk with Christ through intentional discipleship, biblical teaching, worship, service, and Christ-centered community.
Throughout the week, students will step into a variety of experiences that challenge, encourage, and stretch them both spiritually and personally. From community service projects and evangelism opportunities to hiking, rock climbing, games, and team activities, every part of the week is aimed at helping students see what it looks like to faithfully follow Jesus in everyday life. Students will also spend focused time in God’s Word alongside trusted LVC counselors and leaders who desire to shepherd, encourage, and disciple them well.
M.I.D.E. is more than just a camp or summer event. It is an opportunity for students to step away from distraction, build lasting friendships, grow in confidence, and experience Christian community in a meaningful and memorable way. Whether students are deeply connected to church already or simply curious about Christ and community, M.I.D.E. is open to all middle school students and we would love to have them join us.
