Chris Haller - HospitalityChris Haller

Chris is originally from Kansas and has lived in Wyoming since 2015. Currently, he works for the College of Business at the University of Wyoming. Chris came to know Jesus while attending Laramie Valley Chapel and he and his wife, Corianne, have been serving the church in a variety of areas since becoming members. Chris serves as the Deacon of Hospitality for LVC. The hospitality ministry oversees and coordinates church meetings and fellowship opportunities, engages and prepares members to serve, and seeks opportunities to extend hospitality to the congregation. Derek Teini Derek Teini - Small Groups

Derek Teini is originally from Sheridan, WY where he grew to know Christ and became saved when he was in fourth grade. Like many Wyoming high school students, he attended the University of Wyoming, which is how he became involved in Laramie Valley Chapel over the past 22 years.  In college he met his wife, Stephannie, whom he has three daughters with. Derek works for the City of Laramie as the Planning Manager, and enjoys time with his family and friends and likes to travel and fish. Derek has been involved in many Bible studies and small groups throughout the years in Laramie Valley Chapel, and has served in different ways such as being an usher and greeter and most recently has been providing organization and support for small groups and Bible Studies . Additionally, Derek and his wife provide premarital counseling, as well as work with couples who are struggling in their marriage. Derek desires to see people come to know the Lord and grown in their faith. If you are wanting to find a small group please email Derek at smallgroups@laramievalleychapel.org

Larry JamesLarry James - Ushers and Greeters

Larry was blessed to grow up in a Christian home in western Illinois and
accepted Christ as his savior in 1971 as a child. Larry married his wife Becky in
1982 and they have 3 adult children; Lily, Katy and Luke. Larry and Becky
moved to Laramie in 1990 and own and operate a fireplace retail store. They
have been at LVC since 2009 and the ushering ministry is something that Larry is
passionate about so that everyone that comes into LVC feels welcomed and

Doug wookey

Doug Wookey - College Ministry

Doug has worked with college students at Laramie Valley Chapel since 2000. He is originally from Canada and if you listen sometimes, you will still hear the accent! Doug grew up in a pastor’s home and came to know Christ as a child. His father ministered as a church planter for 60+ years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. Doug prepared for ministry at Okanagan Bible College, Canadian Bible College, Toccoa Falls Christian College and The West Institute. In 1998 he married his wife, Tuesday, and they have 4 children: Isaiah (Married to Sarah and granddaughter Harper), Roland, Titus and Emma. Doug works for Milliporesigma full time here in Laramie. He enjoys meeting new people, sharing the gospel and God’s generosity through hospitality, and being active in the community teaching students how to cross-country ski, ice-skate and enjoys other outdoor pursuits with his family. One of Doug’s favorite and sincere sayings is… “Know we love you..!”
