Youth Camp Kitchen/Cook Staff
Camp food can make or break a camp experience. At Snowy Mountain Lodge Youth Camp, we strive to make fresh, quality, home cooked meals, for our campers and staff. The kitchen staff must be friendly, inviting, and relaxed, to help provide a positive atmosphere throught the week.
Each year we enlist a team of volunteers to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals for the week. Typically, we hire one head chef that is responsible for creating the menu, gathering food and materials, and organizing the kitchen staff. The supporting volunteers help make the meals, clean-up after meals, and ensure health and safety during preperation and clean-up.
