With over 12,00 students attending the University of Wyoming from over 90 countries and all 50 states, UW provides a unique environment where the mission field literally comes to us! In an effort to strategically reach this ripe harvest of souls, our position with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes allows us to begin by endeavoring to present to coaches, athletes and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the Church. With 15 varsity sports, 19 club sports, and 45 intramural sports opportunities, we are laboring to reach coaches and student athletes with the gospel, who will then impact their unique spheres of influence, including their teams, families, peers, and friends with the good news of Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.
In addition to the ministry at the University of Wyoming, Aaron serves as local area FCA director for Laramie Jr. High, High School and Rock River High Schools, facilitating ministry in those huddles. He also serves as the Regional Coordinator for International Ministry for the Rocky Mountain Region (Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona), which includes partnering with FCA Global Region, The South Pacific, to facilitate new and encourage existing ministry opportunities to that area of the world.
